Ufone is ready to launch Biometric System in Pakistan

Ufone spokesperson in recent statement has said that “The Company is all equipped to successfully launch the Biometric system in Karachi by 30th November and all over Pakistan at all its Customer Service Centers and Franchised outlets by 20th December”.

This is the phase II of a comprehensive plan which all the stake holders including Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Ministry of Information and Technology (MoIT), National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra), the Ministry of Interior and the cellular mobile operators (CMOs) have agreed recently to implement Biometric verification system for sale of SIMs in Pakistan.

Ufone and PCB sign MoU to nurture fast bowlers in the country

Ufone has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to invest into the cricket talent pool of Pakistan and to provide opportunities for the development and growth of young Pakistani fast bowlers.

Under the signed MOU cricketing legend, fast bowler and former Captain of the Pakistan National Team, Wasim Akram, also the Brand Ambassador of Ufone, will host a camp for the bowlers in our national team. Ufone Re-Launched Summer Internship Program for 2013

Following the success of its Summer Internship Program (SIP) 2012, Ufone is now re-launching the program for 2013. SIP 2013 will commence in April at national level with campus drives being held across the country during which students will have to take a test and give an interview for final selection.

The campus drives will be held in all major universities in cities including Islamabad, Sawabi, Lahore and Karachi.
