With the launch of 3G services in Pakistan, Telenor and Zong both have announced their Video Call service in Pakistan.
What is Video Call ?
Just like Skype, Video call is a telecommunication service which allows real time or live face-to-face conversations between two or more than two person on their phones.
Requirements of Video Call:
- 3G / 4G Internet Service
- Video Call capable phone (almost all phones with front camera supports video call)
- Both caller and receiver need to be in 3G / 4G coverage area and both should have video call capable phone
How to make a Video Call ?
Go to contact name in your phone's address book, select the contact and select video call option to make a video call.
If you don’t see an option of Video call, this means your handset does not support video call.
Video Call Packages:
Cellular companies haven't announced video call packages yet. Currently they are just offering regular video call rates.
Zong Video Call Charges ?
Zong offers Video Call service for Rs. 3.2 per Minute.
Telenor Video Call Charges ?
Telenor is charging Video Calls on a 5 Minutes Basis at Rs. 2 per 5 Minutes.
Mobilink Video Call Charges ?
Mobilink is charging Video Calls on a 30 Seconds Basis at Rs. 2.99 per 30 Seconds or Rs. 5.98 per Minute.
No Video Call Supported Phone ?
Don't worry, alternately you can make video call by using OTT apps like Hangout, Facetime, Skype and other. In this case you will be charged as per the relevant Data / Internet Rate.
