PTCL earned CSR Business Excellence Award 2012

The latest new from PTCL is: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited has been honored with the “Best Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative 2011-2012” award by the National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH).

Chief Guest on the occasion, Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa presented the award to PTCL Senior Executive Vice President Business Zone Central, Jamal Abdalla Salim Hussain Al Suwaidi, at a distinguished ceremony of the NFEH 4th International CSR Summit & Business Excellence Awards held at a local hotel in Lahore.

The NFEH CSR Business Excellence awards recognize and promote Pakistani organizations making outstanding contributions to the country’s sustainable future through exemplary corporate social responsibility initiatives.

As a responsible company, PTCL has always been at the forefront of social development in Pakistan,” said President NFEH, Naeem Qureshi on the occasion. “The CSR Business Excellence Award 2011-2012 award for PTCL recognizes its outstanding contribution for building a sustainable future for Pakistan through its social development initiatives in the year 2011-2012.”

PTCL is amongst 36 organizations and companies which were awarded the CSR Business Excellence Award 2011-2012 in various categories. A total of 87 companies had participated in the competition.
