Lenovo launches its first Store in Pakistan

Lenovo in association with PC House, launched its first exclusive Lenovo Store in Pakistan on January 1st, 2014, to further its investment in the country.

Located conveniently on Fazal-e-Haq road in the Blue Area of Islamabad, the store offers all major Lenovo products including the flagship Yoga, the world’s first 360-degree convertibles, as well as Lenovo’s rage of IDEA and THINK devices and accessories. In addition, the store is selling Lenovo’s game-changing multimode Yoga Tablets.

“We’re excited to open our first dedicated Lenovo store in Islamabad, which will serve as a platform for expanding our footprint across the country. The launch of this store reaffirms our commitment to growing the ICT industry in Pakistan, in turn increasing investment and created jobs that will energize the local economy,” said Mohammed Hilili, Lenovo Gulf and Pakistan General Manager.

The store is Lenovo’s first step towards investing in Pakistan, with more stores on the way across all major cities. In addition to briningits latest innovations to the country, Lenovo will contribute to job creation in Pakistan through future investments, staff training and community initiatives.

Furthering its reachin Pakistan, Lenovosigned on three major distributors - Unique Technology, Computer Marketing Company (CMC) and Joss Computers- who will be distributing Lenovo’s commercial and consumer products to retailers and resellers across the country.

In addition, Lenovo recently appointed Zahid Mahmoud as Lenovo Pakistan Country Lead.Zahid oversees Lenovo’s operations in Pakistan as well as customer and partner relations. Zahid joins Lenovo with a wealth of experience in the technology sector.
