CM Punjab to Extend Metro Bus to Rawalpindi, Multan and Faisalabad

Government of Punjab has announced to extend the Metro Bus System to three other major cities Rawalpindi, Multan and Faisalabad.

CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif recently announced this via its social media representatives on various social media networks.

Continuing his policy to Revolutionize Public Transport System in the Province, CM Shahbaz Sharif aims at providing Air-Conditioned and Comfortable Public Transport System throughout Punjab.

After successful launch of Pakistan’s first ever Mass-Transit System in Lahore (Metro Bus System) last year (2012) by CM Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab Budget 2013-14 proposes to extend this Mass-Transit system to three other major cities of Punjab (Rawalpindi, Multan & Faisalabad) which are facing traffic issues due to their growing population.
