A 50 percent increase in balance inquiry charges from Aug 1st, 2012. Before this balance inquiry charges are 10 paisas plus tax or 12 paisas including tax.
An advertisement published in various newspapers informs that charges for all balance inquiry services will be charged at 15 paisas plus tax and18 paisas including tax.
