Punjab Govt. to Organize Punjab Youth Festival 2012

The Punjab Youth Festival 2012 is the largest event ever to be held in the World, Covering 50,000 sports and youth development councils of neighborhood / village level, 3464 Union Councils, 137 Tehsils, 36 Districts, 9 Divisions.

All walks of life and professions are invited to participate. This festival is named in accordance with Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s Initiative to see a developed and prosperous Punjab being led by the youth of this country.

The Youth festival should provide a door of opportunity to the youth to envision their bright future. The festival should ignite passion, Bond communities and should provide citizens of all ages equal opportunities to build a future of their dreams.

PYF 2012 TVC:

There are so many sectors and everyone can participate in this festival. Interested candidates can download forms from Punjab Sports Board website or visit Assistant Commissioners & DCO offices or Union Council offices or you can call our helpline 111-333-727.

Punjab Youth Festival is based on following theme:

• Aspirations: Govt. of Punjab invite the youth to dare to dream.

• Creativity: As the youth envision the bright future ahead of them, they come up with ingenious and creative ways to arrive at their desired destination.

• Hard work: With determination and hard work, the youth will build the future of their dreams, targets for a bright future, youth will set targets for a bright future for all.

• Team work: Our youth will strive together to achieve anything they put their hearts and minds to.

Objectives of Youth Festival: The youth festival shall provide a door of opportunity to the youth to envision their bright future. The festival shall ignite passion, bond communities and shall provide citizens of all ages an equal opportunity to achieve their desires.

Targets: Effective utilization of all available resources of the goverment & synergizing the working of all government departments. Providing a ray of hope and an opportunity to the citizen to build a future of their dreams with determination and hard work. Providing an environment of healthy competitions and an opportunity for the talented to test and prove their skills.

What is the main target of this event ? To ignite passion for mass participation of public and private schools, colleges, universities, general public and all government departments.
