Social and Complete: Telenor brings new BlackBerry Packages

Telenor Pakistan has announced two news packages for its customers using BlackBerry handsets.

These newly introduced BlackBerry Packages are named as BlackBerry Social and BlackBerry Complete.

The company has introduced these packages in November, 2012. These packages are applicable for Telenor Business Postpaid subscribers only.

Telenor BlackBery Packages Details:

1. BlackBerry Complete: Heavy on Style, Light on pocket (Price Rs. 650 Per Month)
2. BlackBerry Social: BBM & Social Aps (Price Rs. 350 Per Month)

BlackBerry Complete:

• No Activation Fee
• Monthly Charges: Rs. 650
• 1 BlackBerry email address + 1 third party email accounts (eg: @YourDomain.com, @super.net.pk, @Paktron.net, etc.)
• Unlimited internet browsing* (Fair Usage applies)
• Instant messaging: BB Messenger, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk, etc.
• An additional deposit of Rs. 1,000 is required for activation of BlackBerry Complete.
• Social Networking
• *Fair usage policy of 2GB data is applicable on BB Complete.

BlackBerry Social:

• No Activation Fee
• Monthly Charges: Rs. 350
• 1 BlackBerry email address
• Unlimited internet browsing* (Fair Usage applies)
• BB Messenger
• An additional deposit of Rs. 500 is required for activation of BlackBerry Social
• Social Networking
• *Fair usage policy of 1GB data is applicable on BB Social

Unlike blackberry packages, Telenor Pakistan is also offering standard BIS for its customers details of Telenor BIS is given below.

Telenor Blackberry Internet service:

• No Activation Fee
• 10 POP3 E-mail Accounts (Gmail, Hotmail, @YourDomain.com, @super.net.pk, etc.)
• Monthly charges Rs. 1,000
• Unlimited Free GPRS (NO fair usage)
• Additional Security Deposit for BlS Rs. 2,500 is required for activation of BIS service.

These packages are applicable for Telenor Business Postpaid subscribers only. Only withholding Tax of 10% is charged. FED of 19.5% is NOT charged. After the fair usage limit (which is rarely reached), internet charges of Rs.18 per MB are applicable.
