256 kbps PTCL DSL package will remain Unlimited before January 2012

PTCL had introduced Broadband mega national package with 256 kbps data rate earlier this year at a monthly price of Rs. 299. This package was basically introduced to offer with PTCL Smart Tv Setup.

During Ramadan PTCL offered this package at same price of Rs. 299 but with unlimited downloads till September 30th under a special promotional offer.

But now PTCL has extended this offer till December 31st, 2011 for 256 Kbps DSL package and so this Broadband mega national package will remain Unlimited before January 2012.

Existing DSL customer having higher data rate can also avail this package but they have to pay one time charges of Rs.1500 as downgrade charges.

PTCL financial result for the year ended June 30

The Board of Directors of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) announced the financial result of PTCL for the year ended June 30, 2011 in their meeting held in Islamabad today.

As per the press release issued on the occasion, PTCL Group revenues at Rs.104.6 billion for the year 2010-11 were 6% higher than the preceding year and profit after tax for the year is Rs. 8.4 billion. As such, the earning per share (EPS) of the group was Rs. 1.65 of which EPS for PTCL was Rs. 1.46. PTCL has already declared an interim cash dividend of Rs. 1.75 per share for the year 2010-11, the press release said.

Jazz Jazba concludes Summer Adventure 2011
