m.bing.com updates for iPhone and Android mobile, offers improved Image Search, which is now “faster and smoother.” Bing also updated its Shopping Search feature to let users comparison shop, get questions answered, discover product details, and check out user reviews.
Weather Autosuggest and Instant Answers have been added to the search bar, so that mobile users can get forecast information before they’re finished typing. The Weather tab was upgraded with four different forecast views, daily overview, hourly forecast, 10-day forecast, and map-view of the current weather pattern. Bing also made adjustments to its movie-related search feature so that films are organized by time and nearest theatre, and iPhone and Android mobile users can check out reviews, synopsis, and trailers. Bing has updated its mobile browser to search for iPhone apps. This new version of Bing for mobile is not available for Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system as it does not support HTML 6.
